Maintenance Technician - Plastics Manufacturing

Maintenance Technician needed for Plastics Manufacturing company. 49-year-old family-owned company with three shifts, five days. Full time position.
Responsibilities:
- Repair, maintain, and upgrade plastic processing equipment and associated machinery
- Document repairs and PM in computer software program
- Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely fashion
- Observe all safety procedures in maintenance activities, repairs and upgrades
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance, manufacturing or other related fields
- Strong mechanical aptitude skills and troubleshooting including reading schematics and wiring diagrams
- Experience and familiarity with industrial tools, mechanical and electrical repair, some welding and machining
- Good oral and written communication skills, familiarity with common computer software programs
Other:
- Typically 1st shift assignment, occasional call-in if critical repair needed on other shifts
