Wayfinding Specialist - Airport Construction

We are seeking an experienced Airport Wayfinding & Construction Logistics Specialist to support a major airport capital improvement program. This role focuses on developing and managing temporary wayfinding strategies, reviewing construction phasing and site logistics plans, coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams, and ensuring safe and effective passenger navigation throughout ongoing construction activities. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement temporary wayfinding strategies. Review construction phasing and site logistics plans for wayfinding impacts. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, designers, and airport stakeholders. Prepare wayfinding plans, maps, and visual communication materials. Conduct field/site walks to verify signage effectiveness. Track signage production, installation, and project schedules. Maintain consistency with airport branding and signage standards. Prepare presentations and stakeholder communications. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Aviation, or a related field. 10+ years of experience on airport or other complex construction programs. Experience with temporary wayfinding and construction logistics. Strong understanding of project schedules, phasing plans, and site logistics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Skills: Microsoft Office Experience with airport terminal projects Knowledge of signage systems, typography, mapping, and passenger flow Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) PE (Professional Engineer) AAAE (American Association of Airport Executives) AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners) OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety (preferred) Bluebeam Certified Professional (nice to have) #J-18808-Ljbffr Purely Works
