RN - CVICU Profession: RN Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Experienced in ICU nursingCVICU experience preferredCharge nurse experience for night shifts is highly beneficialProficient in telemetry, pressor management, positive inotropes, pacemaker operations, chest tube management, catheter/electrophysiology lab recovery, pericardial drains, and frequent site and vital sign assessments Description:This position requires working in a Cardiovascular ICU.The unit has 10 beds with a patient ratio of 2:1.Staffing includes unit clerks and tech support.Equipment used includes Alaris IV pumps, GE bedside monitors, IABP, and Impella devices.Documentation is done using Meditech.Scheduling requires working 3 shifts per week, including 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule.On-call shifts may be required.There is a floating policy to medical ICU and floor units.Candidates must have experience in open heart procedures and ECMO cannulation.Royal blue scrubs are the required uniform.This unit has a reputation for maintaining high quality and patient experience scores.New technology and equipment may be available, along with options for flexible scheduling. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
