Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current Standard Arizona Secondary Teaching License
• K-12 Special Education Certificate
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Card
• Strong experience supporting students with autism, emotional disabilities, and/or behavioral needs in self-contained settings
• Demonstrated experience working with at-risk youth, English language learners, and a culturally diverse student population
• Familiarity with federal, state, and district special education compliance and documentation
• Completion of Essential Elements of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) training, or willingness to participate in staff development

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver structured and intensive instruction to students with diverse learning and behavioral needs in a self-contained classroom
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related documentation
• Foster prosocial and self-regulatory skills in students with emotional and behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success and growth
