Surgery - General Nurse Practitioner

A highly collaborative surgical subspecialties team in the Greater Hartford, Connecticut area is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time nights position offering extensive hands-on surgical experience, procedural autonomy, and the opportunity to practice at the top of your license.

• Full-time nights with flexible scheduling
• No call

• First-assist in the OR with extensive hands-on surgical experience
• ED and inpatient consultations, admissions, rounding, and discharges
• Perform invasive bedside procedures
• Diverse surgical exposure across:
  • General Surgery
  • Thoracic Surgery
  • Vascular Surgery
  • Colorectal Surgery
  • Plastic Surgery
• Exposure to robotic procedures, vascular interventions, breast reconstruction, thoracic surgery, and more

Qualifications:

• Unrestricted Connecticut medical license or eligibility
• Certified Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• 1+ year of experience as a PA or NP in surgery or a related setting
