About Our Practice

We are a private dental practice with an amazing team and a loyal patient family, and we’re looking for a Dental Office Manager who is interested in a long-term home .

What We Offer

• $30–$35/hour , based on experience
• Production milestone bonuses in addition to your hourly compensation
• Approximately 28 hours per week
• Monday–Thursday schedule
• Half-day Mondays - no patients, office day only

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling for providers and staff to ensure appropriate coverage on high-volume patient days.
• Maintain hygiene and doctor schedules to maximize production and efficiently utilize the practice schedule.
• Build strong, personal relationships with patients to improve retention and contribute to word-of-mouth growth.
• Oversee all lab cases, confirming incoming and outgoing work with assistants to ensure smooth patient visits.
• Train administrative and clinical staff on effective communication, patient care, and conflict resolution.
• Monitor daily office readiness, ensuring operatories and common areas are stocked, sanitized, organized, and prepared for procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment, including routine office cleaning and ensuring cleanliness standards are consistently maintained.
• Communicate patient balances, treatment plans, and financial responsibilities prior to visits.
• Manage insurance claim follow-up and reduce delays through proactive communication with insurance companies.
• Provide detailed monthly production reports to the dentist/business owner, including raw and software-generated data.
• Direct hiring, interviewing, scheduling, and onboarding of new staff members.
• Ensure staff are appropriately cross-trained to support the office during high-volume or understaffed periods.
• Maintain insurance billing accuracy and perform regular A/R and patient balance reviews.
• Implement internal marketing strategies to improve online reviews and strengthen patient loyalty.
• Monitor practice performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, patient experience, and production.
• Help foster a positive team culture through strong communication, accountability, and leadership.
• Take ownership of day-to-day office operations and proactively address issues before they become problems.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of dental experience preferred , although we are open to candidates with strong management, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• A recent college graduate with a background in communications, business, mathematics, accounting, or a related field may also be an excellent fit.
• Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.
• Outstanding professionalism, high moral standards, and a self-motivated work ethic.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with coworkers and patients.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with numbers, production reports, insurance billing, and financial information.
• Ability to confidently communicate with patients and team members, including during challenging situations.
• A driven personality with a desire to continually improve, grow professionally, and help the practice succeed.
• A genuine commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience.
