Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Active Occupational Therapy license in Michigan (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience providing OT services in school settings; home health or healthcare OT experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes, assessments, and goal development
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Compassionate, adaptable approach to work with diverse student populations
• Ability to manage a caseload across elementary or high school age groups

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, evidence-based OT interventions to students in elementary and high school settings (exact assignment based on fit)
• Assess students’ needs and create customized therapy plans aligned with educational goals
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and consult with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Advocate for students’ access to tools and strategies enabling success in the classroom
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory guidelines
