Temporary Part-Time Admissions Support Specialist

Employment Type: Part‑Time (Temporary – 4–6 weeks, potentially longer) FLSA Classification: Non‑Exempt Department: Admissions Reports To: Director of Admissions Location: St. Cloud, Florida Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Compensation: $17.00 per hour Position Overview Join The Transition House as an Admissions Support Specialist. The weekday position supports the residential treatment admissions process by reviewing applications, speaking with prospective residents, coordinating documentation, and helping clients access needed resources. Key Responsibilities Process admissions applications and supporting documentation. Conduct initial phone screenings with prospective residents. Support the Director of Admissions with follow‑ups and documentation reviews. Provide admission updates to applicants and referral partners. Assist residents with EBT applications and community resources. Track admissions, discharges, and follow‑ups. Participate in provider calls and document updates. Represent the organization at occasional community events. Required Qualifications Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: Administrative, customer service, healthcare, behavioral health, or related experience preferred. Skills Excellent communication and customer service. Strong attention to detail and organization. Ability to multitask with minimal supervision. Professional and respectful demeanor. Reliable transportation.
