Flaherty Sales Company has provided professional representation to construction, industrial, rental, and safety markets since 1979. The team supports manufacturers and distributors across Ohio, Michigan, Western Pennsylvania, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Indiana. In addition to sales expertise, the company offers market services, product training, and end-user visits to strengthen customer relationships. Flaherty Sales actively participates in open houses and trade shows, and uses “rolling showrooms” to demo products on the road, delivering a hands-on approach to understanding and addressing customer needs.
Role Description
The Regional Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cleveland, OH. This position is responsible for managing and growing accounts within the assigned territory, building long-term relationships with distributors, manufacturers, and end users. Day-to-day activities include regular customer visits, product demonstrations (including use of rolling showrooms), and participation in open houses and trade shows. The Regional Account Manager will identify new business opportunities, prepare and deliver presentations, and collaborate with internal teams to align customer needs with product offerings. The role also involves maintaining accurate account records, forecasting sales, and providing ongoing product training and support to key partners.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience in construction, safety, industrial, rental, or a related market required.
- Strong sales, account management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to understand and demonstrate technical products.
- Strong communication, presentation, organization, and time-management skills.
- Comfortable with frequent travel and hands-on customer demonstrations.
- Proficient with email, spreadsheets, and CRM tools.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Valid driver’s license required.
