Join us as an Advanced Inspection Processes Manager at our LaPorte, IN location, where you will be pivotal in leading a highly skilled team in Structured Light Metrology (SLM). Your role not only includes technical supervision but also ensuring optimal safety, quality, and operational adherence across the department.
Main Responsibilities
As a leader, you start with a review of the strategic allocation of resources, utilizing innovative tools like GOM, ATOS, and Geomagic for inspecting part geometries. Collaborating closely with team members, you'll develop robust inspection workflows and troubleshoot technical issues with your expertise in GD&T and advanced metrology concepts.
Skills and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent CMM/SLM experience.
- Ability to generate complex inspection programs in GOM at the application stage.
- Deep knowledge of CMM usage, programming, and Microsoft Excel.
- Legal work authorization is a requirement for hiring; regrettably, no visa sponsorship available.
