Corewell Health Family Medicine in Redford

Corewell Health Family Medicine in Redford is where the community comes for their primary care needs. We are an office of five highly qualified providers with a strong support team. We offer the following services: EKGs, pulmonary function tests and laboratory with additional resources available as needed.

Scope of Work

Supervises and trains office support staff to ensure optimal patient process flow and serves as a liaison between physicians and clinical staff in daily operations. Responsible for charge processing, A/R follow up, cash processing, patient flow, maintenance of scheduling system and patient medical records. Develops and implements policies, process improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives. Scope of this position will be determined by leadership according to defined leveling criteria.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• A minimum of (2) years of relevant healthcare experience preferred.
• Two years of direct staff supervisory experience in a customer-service or healthcare field required.
• Experience utilizing an electronic health record system preferred.
