Primary Location: United States (US) - California - Torrance Function: Product Engineering (CA) Title: Senior GNSS Algorithms Engineer - 123649 Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position Your Responsibilities Develop innovative GNSS and multi-sensor navigation algorithms for embedded applications, with a focus on robust performance in challenging environments. Design, implement, validate, and document precision positioning and sensor fusion solutions using GNSS, IMU, and complementary sensors. Collaborate with embedded software teams to integrate, test, and optimize navigation algorithms in production systems. Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot field issues, resolve root causes, and drive continuous product improvement. VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position What Skills You Need 3 or more years of GNSS R&D experience in industry or research environments. 3 or more years of experience developing embedded real-time software in C/C++ for GNSS, navigation, or related systems. Strong expertise in GNSS measurement processing, navigation algorithms, ambiguity resolution, estimation techniques (Least Squares/Kalman Filtering), and precise positioning corrections. Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across disciplines. What Makes You Stand Out Experience with multi-sensor fusion, including integration of GNSS, IMU, wheel odometry, cameras, LiDAR, or other navigation sensors. Familiarity with modern GNSS constellations and signals, including GPS, Galileo, BeiDou, GLONASS, and satellite-based correction services. Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional engineering teams. Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Geometrics or equivalent experiences in a related career field (M.Sc. or PhD preferred.)
