George's Family Restaurant in Lowell, IN is looking for one line cook to join our 49 person strong team. We are located on 1910 E Commercial Ave. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and reliable. Lead Line Cook Job Description Responsibilities
- Oversee and run multiple stations on the line, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
- Prepare and cook menu items with consistency and attention to detail.
- Maintain quality and presentation standards for all dishes.
- Assist in training and guiding other line cooks as needed.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times.
- Manage prep work and maintain proper stock levels throughout service.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure timely execution of orders.
- Assist with daily kitchen cleaning and equipment maintenance.
- Previous experience as a line cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to multitask and run multiple stations efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
