Fire Alarm Project Coordinator

Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.The Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers to create comprehensive action plans concerning resources, budgets, and timeframes for projects. The main duties include maintaining costs on jobs and work schedules, delivering parts, organizing, and participating in project meetings, and ensuring all deadlines for certain projects are met.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutionsPlan and manage team goals, project schedules and new informationSupervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on trackManage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and storedDirect project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emailsCommunicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectivesAdhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measuresDeliver parts to job sites or contractors offices.Creating and managing job permits.Education/Qualification:One to two years of related experience preferredGood communication and interpersonal skillsCapable of maintaining strong relationshipsStrong organizational and multi-tasking skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesTeam-management and leadership skillsDocumentation management and ability to use project management toolsAttention to details even under pressureTime management skills with the ability to meet deadlinesOther Duties:Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.Performs other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Benefits and Perks:Excellent payMedical, dental, visionCompany paid life insuranceCompany paid short-term disability401K with employer matchPaid vacation and company holidaysTraining and Career DevelopmentCompany vehicle (if job applicable)Immediate qualification for the ALL In Ownership Plan for all eligible full-time employeesPye-Barker Fire & Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
