Job Description Metro's Speech Department continues togrowand we are looking for a per diem employee to work in our outpatient clinic location in Mohegan Lake. Hours are flexible based on your convenience. We have just partnered NYU and will be receiving referrals directly from their system. Metro is looking for a motivated, compassionate, forward-thinking Speech Therapist who excels at assessing patients’ strengths and weaknesses and devising creative but effective treatment plans.We’relooking for flexible and all-in teammates who are excited by the opportunity to take on emerging challenges. Pay: $60.00 per hour Qualifications LicensedSpeech-LanguagePathologist in the state of New York or eligible. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Must have experience working with both pediatrics and adults Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and developsan appropriate treatmentplan. Provideappropriate careand treatment to patients based on physician careplan, agencypolicyand professional standards of care. Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers inappropriate speechtherapy techniques & HEP Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course) Additional Information What We Offer!
