Dip Operator 1st Shift

Position Summary The Dip Operator is responsible for the execution of the entirety of the dip process. This includes dip tank and dryer operation, part movement/staging and completion of required paperwork. Essential Functions Follow written procedures to manufacture quality ceramic cores operating Dip Machines. Produce quantities within set standards of each part number, identify core defects and maintain accurate records (routers, CQCS, etc). Operate dip tanks. Test dip tanks to procedure standards. Load ceramic cores into racks. Load racks into dip tanks/dryers belts. Safely operate belt dryer. Move product throughout the plant per router. Complete all required documentation accurately. Meet department productivity and yield standards. Follow and adhere to all safety procedures. Maintain department standards for housekeeping/6S. Other duties as assigned by supervision. Required Skills Ability to follow procedures. Good organization skills. Ability to communicate in writing and verbally. Ability to move/lift up to 35 pounds continually. Experience & Education Prior manufacturing experience preferred. Basic geometry knowledge.
