Medication Technician – Crisis Center
Wilkesboro, NC
$27–28/hour

If you’re a Certified Medication Technician who wants your work to truly matter, this role puts you on the front lines of care—supporting individuals navigating substance use and behavioral health challenges in a crisis setting.

This isn’t a routine med pass role. You’ll be part of a team helping stabilize patients during some of their most critical moments.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Administer medications under the supervision of an RN or LPN
• Monitor for and report medication errors or discrepancies
• Perform UDS, COVID, and pregnancy testing
• Take vitals and complete patient health screenings and documentation
• Prepare patients for in-person or telehealth appointments with providers
• Maintain medication stock, supplies, and ensure equipment is functioning properly
• Carry out medical orders and support care plans directed by nursing staff
• Document patient observations, responses to treatment, and discharge details
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant care environment
• Support patients with dignity and confidentiality at all times

What We’re Looking For:

• State-certified Medication Aide/Technician (required)
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Experience working with substance abuse and/or behavioral health populations strongly preferred
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, crisis care environment
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Team player with a calm, professional demeanor
