Aeronautical Information Specialist

The Leidos National Solutions Division has an exciting opportunity for a Journeyman Aeronautical Information Specialist to assist with the acquisition, logging, and distribution of aeronautical source information embedded with our NGA customer at their facility.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role supports daily source capture and distribution requirements working with the Aeronautical Source Branch. Responsibilities include processing aeronautical information from FAA, DOW, and foreign entities and logging/distributing it appropriately through government and leidos systems, while adhering to strict time constraints dictated by the 28 day AIRAC cycle.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must possess TS/SCI clearance

• College degree in an aviation related discipline and 2+ years relevant work experience. OR 4+ years experience in lieu of degree.

• Must have experience with Aeronautical Information Publications, FLIP, aeronautical charts, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and FTP

• Prior experience as a government contractor is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Effective communication skills

• Keen attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
