The ideal candidate will possess expertise in assisting with a variety of surgical procedures and be committed to providing high-quality patient care.Key Responsibilities\n \n Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during cardiovascular procedures.\n Prepare surgical instruments and equipment for use during operations.\n Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.\n Manage surgical supplies and ensure they are readily available during procedures.\n Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety.\n Unit Information\n \n Unit Type: Cardiovascular Operating Room\n Number of Suites: 7\n Daily Cases: 22-45 cases across various specialties; includes both inpatient and outpatient cases.\n Common Types of Cases: General surgery, bowel resections, gynecological procedures, urology surgeries, and selected bariatrics and plastics cases.\n Electronic Medical Record System: EPIC\n Qualifications\n \n Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CVOR Technician.\n Current BLS Certification and a valid Washington state license required.\n No national certification is needed.\n Scheduling and Shift Information\n \n The role includes options for 4/10 or 5/8 schedules.\n Weekend shifts and holiday call may be required, with 5-6 on-call days per month.\n Call response time is expected to be within 30 minutes.\n Additonal Information\n Housing may be difficult to secure, and block scheduling will be considered.
