Title
Medical Assistant - Outpatient Clinic

Schedule
Shift: 08:30-17:00 or 09:00-17:30 (based on clinic need)

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year relevant experience
- Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
- Proficient with blood draws
- Charting experience in Epic
- Required skills: Venipuncture, medication administration, obtain vital signs, rooming patients, 12-lead EKG, urine collection/UA, point-of-care glucose testing, telephone triage, basic outpatient/internal medicine tasks

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers in patient care activities
- Perform venipuncture and administer medications as needed
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Prepare patients for examination
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and collect specimens
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record

Compliance / Notes
- MA certification must be from a DAPIP-accredited program (copy required with submission)
- Two references from within the past year required at time of submission (must be supervisor or higher)
- Any license/background issues must be fully closed and may require written explanation
