Gnosis Pay is revolutionizing payments, bridging the gap between existing financial rails and decentralized infrastructure, starting with the first self-custodial debit card. We’re bringing web3 to the traditional finance world.

Our first step is enabling smart contract-linked debit cards that work everywhere debit

cards are accepted.
This will allow crypto holders to seamlessly spend their assets in daily life, without needing to cash out through an exchange. Crypto will become a viable payment option for real-world transactions.

There are hard technical challenges around reliability, security and scale. We need talented engineers to help us solve them.
Responsibilities:

Youll be working on the infrastructure between the legacy payments systems of our partners in the Visa ecosystem and Safe, the world’s leading smart contract wallet that got spun out of Gnosis in 2022. Your job will make sure these two worlds are coherent. We think youll enjoy this if youre someone who likes to:
Think about risk and software architecture

Write meticulous unit tests

Prefer to focus on high scalability and security

Work with the entire engineering team as well as internal (Metri wallet by Gnosis) and external clients (third party wallets)

Use typescript

Create observable system

Continuously improve the infrastructure and architecture

Document systems and share knowledge across teams

Monitor and enhance reliability and performance

You have strong experience with:
-TypeScript
-Relational DBs like PostgreSQL or MySQL
-Any payment systems experience

Bonus :
-EVM (solidity + smart contract interaction from a app perspective)
-Authorization (Visa Base I) and Clearing (Visa Base II) concepts
-ISO8583
