Cook Position at Elizabethtown CollegeDining Services at Elizabethtown College is seeking a full-time Cook!The primary purpose of this position is to ensure quality service and food production for all guests.For full consideration please provide resume and contact information for three references and complete the application in its entirety.Essential FunctionsPrepare consistent, high quality menu items, including grab-and-go options and the salad barOperate the cash register as neededTear down, clean, and sanitize, and reset the Jays Nest at the end of the night for the following morning.Safely and effectively used knives, utensils, and kitchen equipmentAlways maintain highest levels of safety and sanitationAccurately maintain required sanitation, production, and equipment recordsAlways ensure proper station coverage; cover co-workers breaks, and PTO as neededTrain and work alongside student staffWork respectfully and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and culturesAssist other areas within Dining Services as neededPerform other duties as assignedNon-Essential FunctionsAttend department meetings and participate in decision-makingAssist other areas within dining servicesAttend conferences to further educationConduct all responsibilities in a safe manner according to regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.)QualificationsTo perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
