About DSN Software

DSN Software is the leading practice management platform built exclusively for oral surgery, periodontics, and endodontics. We serve 900+ specialty dental offices nationwide, handling everything from scheduling and clinical charting to billing, imaging, and cloud-based analytics. Our customers are highly specialized clinicians. Our software has to match that.

The Role

Were looking for a Software Trainer who can walk into a busy oral surgery practice and get everyone, from the front desk to the doctor, up and running on DSN fast. Youll own onsite and remote training for new customers going live, build the materials that make training stick, and become the person practices call when they need help.

This isnt a read-from-a-script job. Youll need to read a room, adapt on the fly, and translate complex workflows into language that actually clicks. Go-lives are high-stakes. Youll need to keep things calm and productive when the pressure is on.

What Youll Own

• Lead onsite and remote training for new DSN customers going live — including full practice conversions from WinOMS, Sensei, paper-based systems, and others
• Run pre-training check-ins with offices to assess conversion status, data migration readiness, and workflow-specific needs before you arrive
• Build and refine training materials: session agendas, quick-reference guides, how-to docs, and video walkthroughs
• Evaluate effectiveness through post-session feedback and follow-up assessments and then iterate on whats not landing
• Stay current on DSN product updates and new features so your training content never falls behind the platform
• Provide post-go-live support and collaborate with our Support team between training assignments to sharpen your product knowledge
• Keep detailed session records and travel logs

Who You Are

Required

• Strong communicator who can simplify complex software for non-technical users without being condescending about it
• Comfortable being on the road frequently. This is a travel-heavy role and thats a feature, not a bug
• Organized and self-directed! Youll often be the only DSN person in the room
• Patient under pressure. Go-lives are high-stakes for practices, and you keep things moving when theyre not
• Genuinely curious about dental workflows and clinical operations

Strongly Preferred

• Previous experience in a dental office or training role. Front desk, office manager, dental assistant, or similar
• Hands-on experience with dental practice management software (DSN, WinOMS, Sensei, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or comparable)
• Prior training, teaching, or onboarding experience in a software or healthcare setting

Why DSN

• Tight team, high output, no bureaucracy. Your work ships. Your ideas get heard.
• Specialty dental is a niche with real depth. Youll become an expert in workflows most people never see
• Direct impact from day one: the practices you train are the ones that succeed on our platform
• Travel means variety. Every office has its own dynamics, and no two weeks look the same

• DSN Software is an equal opportunity employer.
