Anesthesiologist Opportunity$550k annual salary, 150k sign on bonus with 3 year commitment, 25k housing allowance, loan reimbursement annuallyJob Summary And ScopeAnesthesiologist shall provide services in the practice of Anesthesiology within the policies of the Hospital and with consultation and agreement of the surgeon involved with the care of the patient.Essential Job FunctionsProvide high quality Anesthesiology services within the HospitalProvide anesthesia consultation to inpatients and outpatientsProvide occasional clinical education to members of the hospital staffOperate at all times within federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulationsFollow policies, rules and regulations of the HospitalWork within applicable standards of the American Society of AnesthesiologistsParticipate in committees and required meetings and undertake the responsibilities of the member of the Medical StaffProvide exceptional patient careReliable attendance and punctuality, including observing appropriate break times and extending a scheduled shift when necessary to meet patient demandsPerforms duties in a safe manner, in compliance with all safety policies and proceduresComplies with the Code of Conduct and all appropriate policies and proceduresOther duties that are relevant to the position and departmentRequirementsMinimum RequirementsGraduate of an accredited medical schoolLicensed in the State of Maine in the practice of AnesthesiologyMaintain membership on the Medical Staff at DECH and CCHMaintain current federal DEA number10 or more years experience providing anesthesia in acute care settingSkill and experience with full range of anesthesia methodsPhysical Effort And EnvironmentClinical: Frequently lifts up to 35 pounds independently. Frequently pushes/pulls 100 pounds using mechanical and other assistive devices. Walks, stands, kneels, bends most of the time. Exhibits fine motor skills and manual dexterity necessary to perform the essential job functions of the position. Visual acuity correctable to 20/20. Color vision is necessary.
