Event Director ViVE

As Event Director for ViVE, you’ll own the strategy, growth, and delivery of an event that brings together the people shaping the future of healthcare. 

This is a high-impact senior leadership role with end-to-end ownership of ViVE’s success. You’ll set the vision and strategy while driving commercial growth, audience development, strategic partnerships, operational excellence, and the performance of a talented team. 

The future of healthcare is being shaped now, and ViVE is where the people leading that change come together. Your role is to make sure ViVE stays at the center of that conversation — strengthening its position across the digital health ecosystem while growing its reach, influence, and commercial impact. 

You’ll bring a strong understanding of healthcare, health technology, or digital health, alongside the commercial instincts and leadership experience to spot opportunities, build meaningful industry relationships, and turn big ideas into results.

A bit about you 

You’re an experienced event or portfolio leader who thinks like an entrepreneur. You know what it takes to build, grow, and evolve market-leading events, and you get a real buzz from turning ambitious ideas into commercial success. With  deep knowledge of the U.S. healthcare landscape , you understand the world ViVE operates in, from providers, payers, and health systems to health tech, digital health, and the broader ecosystem. 

You bring strong commercial acumen, full P&L ownership experience , and a product mindset, constantly looking for new ways to enhance audience value, drive revenue growth, and create impactful event experiences.  Credible with senior industry leaders and comfortable navigating complex partnerships , you excel at bringing cross-functional teams together around a shared vision. You are an agile, hands-on, people-first leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, builds high-performing teams, and translates emerging healthcare trends into new opportunities for growth. 

You’ll bring: 

• 7+ years’ experience leading large-scale conferences, exhibitions, or complex commercial event portfolios.
• 5+ years’ experience leading, developing, and motivating high-performing teams.
• Deep knowledge of the US healthcare, health technology, or digital health landscape and the audiences within it.
• A proven track record of delivering ambitious revenue and profitability targets.
• Experience negotiating and closing significant, enterprise-level sponsorship agreements.
• Experience building and managing strategic partnerships with associations, industry bodies, or co-creation partners.
• Experience launching, scaling, or transforming event products in the US market.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the confidence to own a P&L and use forecasts and performance data to make smart decisions.
• The presence and relationship-building skills to influence senior executives and C-suite stakeholders.
• The ability to bring clarity and momentum in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where priorities can shift quickly.
• A hands-on leadership style —you’re as comfortable getting into the detail as you are setting the direction.
• Willing to travel 50% of time (New York office, events, London HQ, etc.)

• Competitive Compensation: Base salary of $150,000–$180,000  USD, plus a performance-based bonus.
