We’re seeking talented and motivated software engineers to join our compute platform team. Locations San Jose, California, US (Salary Range: $75k—$300k USD) Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain Dubai, UAE Responsibilities Board bring up, Linux kernel configuration, driver updates, developing tests for hardware. Work with hardware team to ensure software support that maximizes hardware capabilities. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware team. Analyze and resolve/optimize system issues encountered during road tests. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical or Computer science or a related field. Strong programming experience in C/C++ , as well as hands-on experience debugging complex embedded software. Base knowledge of peripherals and interfaces e.g., PCIe, SPI/UART/I2C, USB, Ethernet etc. Demonstrated system software development experience including kernels, device drivers and board-support packages. Strong innovation mindset, excellent learning ability, and capable of independently analyzing and solving problems. Preferences Familiar with Nvidia DriveOS or MDC Platform. Background and strength with system-level (SW and HW) debugging. Familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessor, and microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, memory controllers, DMA, etc.) Familiarity with camera, display and audio.
