Basic Job Functions: Nucor Business Technology (NBT) is seeking a highly skilled Commercial / LogisticsBusiness Analyst for its Deployment Team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Facilitate discussions with steelmaking divisions and product group locations to align business processes, identify business needs, translate those needs into functional system requirements, and configure rule sets within MES and/or ERP applications. Create test scenarios and scripts, execute testing, and validate outcomes. Create documentation and facilitate training for both internal and external customers/users. Provide hands-on support to division teammates throughout the system implementation project lifecycle. Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of business processes for order management, pricing and credit, logistics and shipment execution, and material handling. Translate division requirements into standardized, scalable system solutions. This position will be onsite, located at our NBT Dallas office or local division. This position requires travel up to 75% to support other divisions. [[cust_safetyState]] Minimum Qualifications: Experience with software design, configuration, and implementation. Four-year college degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or logisticsor IT-related field or 2 years equivalent experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in steel manufacturing or related industry. Experience in commercial order management, pricing and credit, logistics and shipment execution, or material handling. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software applications. Experience leading implementation activities such as testing, training, and data validation. Experience using AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude) to accelerate analysis, documentation, or requirements gathering.
