Certified Nursing Assistant Long-Term Care

Part-time positions available with 2 shift/3 shift rotational options, or 24 hours per week.

Assignment Details

Licensed nursing personnel will oversee activities, focusing on resident care and safety.

Requirements

• Current NYS Nursing Assistant Certification
• BLS Certification (AHA/RQI)
• One (1) year of previous long-term care experience

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) in accordance with their care plans.
• Maintain a safe environment by monitoring resident safety and responding promptly to call lights.
• Support residents' nutritional needs through meal assistance and adherence to dietary preferences.
• Facilitate rehabilitative care as outlined in care plans.
• Report any changes in residents' physical, emotional, or psychosocial status to the supervising nurse.
