Pediatric Sleep Medicine Director The Sleep Disorders Center is seeking a Pediatric Sleep Medicine Director to provide leadership for an established and growing pediatric sleep service within a large, academic medical center. This is an academically driven role to lead clinical and academic initiatives and shape the future direction of pediatric sleep medicine. Position Overview The Pediatric Sleep Medicine Director will provide clinical, academic, and administrative leadership for pediatric sleep services. The current pediatric sleep team includes three pediatric sleep medicine physicians and two pediatric sleep advanced practice providers (APPs) and delivers comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care. The Director will work collaboratively with pediatric subspecialties, including otolaryngology, behavioral sleep medicine, psychology, neurology, pulmonology, adult sleep medicine, and institutional leadership. The Sleep Disorders Center at Cleveland Clinic is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and includes 21 sleep physicians, 4 DBSM boarded psychologists, and 17 APPs across adult and pediatric sleep. The center conducts over 25,000 sleep tests annually, supported by 11 sleep laboratories and other programs. It provides outpatient care across locations and virtual visits, offers an ACGME-accredited Sleep Medicine fellowship program, a SBSM-accredited Behavioral Sleep Medicine fellowship, research fellowships, an Accredited Sleep Technologist Education Program, and on-site CME. Distance health capabilities include tele-sleep evaluations and other care delivery models. A multidisciplinary research team collaborates with the Lerner Research, Heart and Vascular, Respiratory and Women and Children\'s Institutes for clinical and translational research. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership for pediatric sleep medicine services. Oversee clinical quality, safety, and growth of pediatric sleep care. Lead and mentor physicians, advanced practice providers, trainees, and staff . Collaborate across pediatric subspecialties and interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, patient-centered care. Participate in education and training for fellows, residents, and medical students. Foster and participate in clinical research, outcomes research, and innovation in pediatric sleep medicine. Represent pediatric sleep medicine within institutional leadership and at the national level through professional societies and academic engagement. Qualifications MD or DO with board certification in Pediatrics and Sleep Medicine. Academic appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, commensurate with experience. Demonstrated leadership experience or strong potential for leadership. Commitment to academic medicine, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
