Medical Assistant - Dermatology on Curtis

Overview

The Dermatology Medical Assistant maintains department patient care supplies, ensures timely flow of patients, and assists physicians and nurses to provide optimal care to patients and families.


Qualifications

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)

Education: H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)


Responsibilities

• Perform routine direct patient care duties to assist medical and nursing staff in examinations and treatments
• Maintain patient care environment and supplies to ensure privacy and safety
• Rooming patients
• Medication reconciliation of dermatology medications and over‑the‑counter medications
• Chart preparation
• Cleaning and stocking exam rooms
• Cleaning, packaging, and sterilizing instruments

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $17.12per hour - $27.73per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
