Construction Project Manager

Project Manager, Oneonta, NY area. LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY, PLEASE! This is a full-time role for one of our clients! The successful candidate will have some experience estimating construction work in multiple industries. Should be willing to lead their projects while ensuring schedules, safety, relationships with vendors and subcontractors, work quality, and cost estimates are maintained throughout the project’s progress. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall performance of their projects and should possess the traits and skills necessary to plan, execute, monitor, and deliver a high-quality projects to the customer. Responsibilities Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates for construction projects Visit local job sites to gather information and assess project requirements Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality Collaborate with project teams to ensure that project plans, schedules, and budgets are aligned with customer expectations Monitor and report on project progress, identify potential issues and provide solutions to keep projects on track Education & Experience A degree in engineering, architecture, or construction is preferred Experience in construction estimating and project management, submittals and scheduling. Commercial construction experience strongly preferred. Experience with SAGE 300 CRE (Formerly Timberline) software a plus Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines Open to local travel! #J-18808-Ljbffr
