Cardiovascular Key Account Manager, Phoenix, AZ

Amgen seeks a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager for the Phoenix territory to develop and execute strategic account plans with healthcare systems. The role involves building relationships with key decision-makers, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving utilization of cardiovascular products while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess business environment and develop comprehensive account plans aligned to cardiovascular strategy
• Serve as strategic lead for assigned key accounts, engaging priority providers across inpatient and ambulatory settings
• Build relationships with cardiology, pharmacy, and hospital decision-makers to drive product utilization
• Monitor account performance, market dynamics, and identify barriers to utilization and access
• Coordinate cross-functional field teams and home office initiatives to support product promotion and patient access

Requirements

• Doctorate degree with 2+ years sales or account management experience
• OR Master's degree with 4+ years sales or account management experience
• OR Bachelor's degree with 6+ years sales or account management experience
• 3+ years account management and/or public payor experience strongly preferred
• Cardiology experience including dyslipidemia, heart failure, and acute coronary syndromes highly preferred
• Knowledge of hospital committee structures, P&T processes, and reimbursement dynamics
• Understanding of CMS policies, Medicare, and healthcare payor systems
