Licensed Practical Nurse

Licensed Practical Nurse Compensation: 35$ - 39.50$ per hour Location: 3700 Vestal Rd. Vestal, New York 13850 Position Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team at a Long Term Care facility. The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. Responsibilities Schedule / Shift: In need LPNs for evenings and overnights. We are looking for full time 8-hour shifts but will consider 12-hour shifts. 6:45am - 3:15pm, 2:45pm - 11:15pm, & 10:45pm - 7:15am Key Duties Collect and document patient admission information, including medical history and insurance details Assist the RN in delivering comprehensive nursing care Record vital signs and other health indicators Prepare patients for medical examinations and collect test samples Administer medications and injections as prescribed Treat and dress wounds and bedsores Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as needed Support patients with personal hygiene and dressing Monitor and document food and fluid intake and output Requirements: Licenses / Certifications Current and valid New York State LPN license Up-to-date medical clearance, including COVID-19 vaccination BLS certification (Basic Life Support) Experience Needed Minimum 1 year of experience in a Long Term Care setting preference Skills Understanding patient needs and providing comfort, which enhances trust and patient satisfaction Effectively interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams to relay important information and provide emotional support Assessing patient conditions, prioritizing care, and making quick decisions, especially in emergencies Adjusting to changing patient needs, healthcare protocols, and dynamic work environments Coordinating with nurses, doctors, and nursing assistants, and sometimes overseeing support staff Benefits • Comprehensive benefits that include medical, dental, and vision • Company-paid Basic Life/AD&D and Long-Term Disability for employees working 30+ hours/week • Paid sick leave may be available based on hours worked and state laws • Benefit offerings are subject to legal requirements, eligibility status, and work location • Employees 21+ can participate in the 401(k) Savings Plan About Us RCM Healthcare Services works with professionals across schools, healthcare, and community-based settings nationwide.
