About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Compliance to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing regulatory and compliance support for the Warranty & Lenders Solutions business unit. This includes the preparation and submission of form and rate filings for consumer products, as well as leading a compliance team in researching, analyzing, and evaluating state and federal regulations to ensure adherence. The role involves overseeing and filing with state insurance regulators, developing filing strategies, and working closely with various internal departments to maintain accurate and current filings. The ideal candidate should have a background in insurance compliance, particularly in regulatory and state filings, and be adept at communicating and collaborating across a large organization. Applicants for the Assistant Vice President, Compliance position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in insurance compliance, with a focus on regulatory and state filings. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively in a multi-dimensional organization, and a high level of organizational skills with attention to detail. Intermediate computer skills and a working knowledge of insurance principles, procedures, and best practices are essential. The candidate should be able to interpret industry trends and information and align with the company's strategic objectives. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and a background in P&C insurance licensing requirements, as well as knowledge of motor vehicle, service contracts, and finance and lenders insurance products, is a plus.
