Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong Java application experience to support enterprise-scale Banking and Financial Services platforms. The role involves CI/CD automation, release management, production support, and cloud-hosted Java applications in highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
• Automate build and deployment processes using Maven, Git/GitHub, and shell scripting.
• Provide 24×7 production support and perform incident triage and root cause analysis.
• Support Java (7/8), Spring, and Spring Boot applications on Apache Tomcat.
• Monitor applications using AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, Catchpoint, and Glassbox.
• Deploy and support applications on AWS EC2 in Linux/Unix environments.
• Manage Change Requests (CRQs) following ITIL and banking compliance standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Java application support, or production support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 7/8, Spring, Spring Boot.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Git, Maven, and Apache Tomcat.
• Experience working in regulated environments such as Banking or Financial Services.
• Ability to work onsite three days per week with first day onsite reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
• Experience with Oracle and MySQL databases.
• Shell scripting and automation experience.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools such as Remedy.
