Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,284–$2,438 per week - Guaranteed hours: 36 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: Night shift, 6:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m.; pattern 2x3 Nights (block scheduling not guaranteed) - Start date: 07/27/2026 - Setting: Emergency Department in a hospital environment - Travel experience required; local candidates considered at local rate within 75 miles Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care in the ED for all ages, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients - Perform triage, rapid assessment, order entry, and ongoing clinical evaluation; document in the EMR - Administer medications, manage IV therapy, monitor cardiac rhythms, and respond to critical events - Participate in resuscitation efforts and Code team activations; coordinate with multidisciplinary ED staff - Manage care for high-acuity presentations such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, and respiratory failure - Maintain unit safety, patient flow, and appropriate disposition; float to related ED areas as needed Requirements - Active New York RN license; NURSYS license verification required; ALL RN licenses must be verifiable - 2+ years of ED experience with some pediatric exposure; documented travel experience required - Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC; TNCC must be in hand at submission - EPIC EMR experience required - Valid driver’s license with address matching demographics - Ability to meet local rate requirements if within 75 miles (local rate applies) - Up-to-date resume reflecting ED experience and travel assignments - RTO (Requests for Time Off) must be included at submission - Skills checklist matching ED specialty Benefits and Support - Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment - Credentialing and licensing verification assistance (NURSYS and NY RN licenses) - Ongoing assignment support and communication to facilitate transitions - Standard payroll processing for travel assignments Find more opportunities Interested candidates are invited to explore additional openings available at Healthforce Healthcare LLC by visiting Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
