Intermediate Accountant

Insight Global is looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join one of our clients on a 1-year contract role that will be 5 days a week onsite in Loveland, CO. This position is responsible for supporting core accounting functions with a focus on month-end close, reconciliations, and data accuracy across multiple ERP systems including SAP and Peoplesoft. The Accountant II will analyze financial data, prepare reports (including competitive allowance reporting), and ensure consistency between systems. This role also contributes to key initiatives such as the Book of Record project and supports management through special projects and ad-hoc analysis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must haves Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 2–4+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience Experience with month-end close processes, including journal entries Strong reconciliation experience with general ledger accounts and large data sets Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently Understanding of IFRS and US GAAP Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams High level of integrity and professionalism Plusses Experience working with SAP and/or Peoplesoft Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools Experience working across multiple ERP systems or system integrations Exposure to Book of Record or similar financial transformation projects Experience preparing management-level financial reports (weekly/monthly) Prior involvement in special projects or process improvement initiatives #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
