The facility features a robust critical care infrastructure with 20 ICU beds, 12 CCU beds, and 6 CVICU beds, totaling 38 critical care beds, and supports a multidisciplinary team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians dedicated to pulmonary and critical care services.

Board Certified – Pulmonary Critical Care

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens coverage for parental leave, intermittently starting February 2027
• Provide inpatient Pulmonary/Critical Care services across ICU and hospital settings
• ICU shift coverage: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday through Sunday
• Hospital Pulmonary/Critical Care coverage: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Sunday
• Average patient census of 10–15 patients per day in both the ICU and hospital settings
• Must be able to care for Intensive Care patients and see general hospital pulmonology consults
• Hospital pulmonology daily census averages 40 patients
• Up to 3 physicians and 3 APCs on staff per weekday to support the Pulmonary/Critical Care service
• Patient population is adult and geriatric; no pediatric or neonatal care required
• 100% inpatient practice setting
• No call coverage required
• Documentation via Epic EMR
• Active South Carolina medical license required
• Board Certification in Critical Care required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active DEA required
• Fellowship in Critical Care/Pulmonology required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 120 days (4 months)
• Travel reimbursements available including airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage at IRS rate
