Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical (Med Surg) Registered Nurse position is based in Detroit, Michigan. This role involves providing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a day shift basis. The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, planning treatment, and implementing nursing interventions. The position also includes supervising staff to ensure delivery of high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, supporting the clinical team and facility leadership.

Job Details:

• Location: Detroit, Michigan
• Position: Medical Surgical (MS) Registered Nurse
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent, current Registered Nurse (RN) license, at least 1 year of clinical experience, and the ability to work in the United States
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in medical-surgical units, familiarity with facility-specific policies and procedures, strong leadership skills
• Additional Information: The Med Surg Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and supervising staff delegated to provide care. The nurse will support the facility Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high standards of patient care, clinical competency of staff, and resource management. The role requires adherence to facility policies and standards for safe nursing practice.
