Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Lead to join our dynamic team in Dayton, OH (45414). In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, leading a dedicated team, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. If you’re passionate about logistics and have a knack for leadership, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, ensuring optimal workflow and productivity.
- Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
- Assist in the development and execution of process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Prepare reports on warehouse performance metrics and present findings to management.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment as needed.
