The Labor & Delivery Unit at Raleigh General Hospital provides comprehensive, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth experience. The unit specializes in caring for patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period while promoting a safe, supportive, and family-focused environment.

How you'll contribute 

A Registered Nurse, RNwho excels in this role: 

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs 
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care 
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record 
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associates or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. 
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred 
• ASLS certification preferred
