Physician Assistant Opportunity – Florida Panhandle / Coastal location Medical Center seeks an experienced Cardiovascular Physician Assistant to join the team. It is the Tri‑County area's only open heart program. The role requires collaboration with physicians and other disciplines, and applying knowledge to care for complex cardiovascular patients across the continuum. Job Duties: Promote collaboration with physicians, personnel of other disciplines, and departments. Provide care appropriate to complex cardiovascular patients. Perform endoscopic vein harvest (primary skill required). Light office and call duties (with physician backup). Support a cooperative and supportive team approach. Qualifications: Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant educational program. Three to five years of current experience as a Cardiovascular Physician Assistant. Primary skill in endoscopic vein harvest; experience in sternal closure considered a plus. Current ACLS, PALS, and BCLS for Healthcare Professionals. License to practice as Physician Assistant in Florida or ability to obtain it. Eligibility for credentialing through the Medical Center.
