This person will be responsible for contract administration and compliance across multiple types of federal and commercial contracts to ensure we meet contractual and performance obligations. The Contracts Manager will perform contract and legal related work, such as negotiating and executing non-disclosure agreements, reseller agreements, and purchase orders. Duties also include proposal review and preparation in response to Government solicitations, as well as maintaining customer relationships.Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with government and commercial contracts, including prime contracts, and assist mission managers with contract performanceNegotiate government contracts, non-disclosure agreements and subcontractor/vendor contracts and reseller agreementsDraft responses to government and commercial proposal solicitations in coordination with mission managers and engineersReview, interpret and provide advice regarding contract and agreement typesManage invoices and payments with government and commercial contractsCreate and maintain contract and business filesEstablish and maintain excellent relationships with Government counterpartsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree5+ years of government contract administration or management experiencePreferred Skills and Experience:Knowledge of government contracts and contract types, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), and/or the NASA FAR Supplement (NFS)DoD, Intelligence Community and/or NASA contract administration experienceRequest for proposal (RFP) analysis and proposal preparation experienceProven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent academic credentials and strong research, writing, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsJD, MBA, or NCMA certificationActive Top Secret or TS/SCI clearanceAdditional Requirements:This position is located in Hawthorne, CA and requires you to be onsite. Hybrid or remote work will not be consideredMust be willing to work extended hours and/or weekends, as neededAbility to obtain a DoD or IC security clearanceCompensation and Benefits:Pay range:Contracts Manager/Senior: $150,000.00 - $215,000.00/per yearYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Those with an active clearance will receive a 10% differential, up to an additional $15,000 annually, once officially briefed into a classified program. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
