UCSF Fresno & Inspire Health - Division Chief for the Gastroenterology & Hepatology DivisionUCSF Fresno and Central California Faculty Medical Group, dba Inspire Health are seeking a full-time faculty member at the Associate or Full Professor rank to serve as Division Chief for the Gastroenterology & Hepatology Division. Applicants must possess a medical degree (MD, DO or equivalent), be board certified in Gastroenterology, eligible for California medical license and obtain prior to hire, and have strong leadership experience and background. Responsibilities will include managing a growing GI & Hepatology Division that includes 6 GI Fellows, patient care, teaching Residents and Fellows, Endoscopic procedures, and clinical research. Faculty appointment with UCSF will be commensurate with the applicant’s background and accomplishments. The UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program provides care in Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) – a 700-bed Level 1 Trauma Center – and has a state-of-the-art endoscopy suite. UCSF Fresno prides itself on having a well-established, ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship.The program is based in Fresno, California, where residents enjoy a high standard of living combined with a low cost of living.
