Sr Inventory Management Specialist

Senior Inventory Management Specialist role at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Manages laboratory inventory and supply operations using electronic systems and mobile scanning tools, ensuring efficient order processing and stock accuracy across customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform replenishments, stock rotation, cycle counts, and order processing using handheld RF scanners
- Receive, inspect, and scan shipments; maintain accurate inventory records
- Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone; assist internal teams with resolution
- Monitor stock levels proactively and flag gaps or operational issues
- Maintain safety and organization standards by following site guidelines and wearing required PPE
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of customer service experience preferred
- Proficiency with RF handheld scanners and mobile scanning applications
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to lift 30-40 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Detail-oriented self-starter with teamwork and accountability
Compensation: $26.20/hr
