Assistant Project Manager

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Nouveau Elevator is seeking an Assistant Project Manager. This in-person position will be based in Long Island City, NY. The Assistant Project Manager supports the Project Manager on assigned projects. The APM must be a flexible and adaptable team player with strong organizational and communication skills.

• Attend weekly project team meetings. Prepare weekly agenda, manage notes from each meeting and circulate notes following each meeting.
• Follow up on action items.
• Assists with preparation of requisitions on as needed basis.

Document controls : create and maintain required logs: drawings, FRI's submittals material tracking permit & violation tracking change orders quality control punch list daily reports including safety & job schedules

• Diligently track items that require follow up.
• Communicate with vendors/procurement/PM's/engineering to ensure proper equipment is provided.
• Ensure submittals are reviewed, comments answered and revisions made.
• Track equipment delivery dates are in accordance with the job schedule.
• Attend job meetings and act as a point of contact for clients and consultants.
• Track change orders.
• Keep job folders up to date & organized ( google drive & physical copies), mark up & return punch-list items to consultants.
• Must be familiar with Google Suite, AutoCAD and/or Inventor.
