Head of Marketing / Growth

Ansa Biotechnologies is recruiting for a Digital Marketing Manager to join the Marketing team. This high impact role will develop and manage multi-channel digital initiatives to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention. The role requires a blend of creativity, marketing expertise, and analytical thinking, with an understanding of how to engage technical audiences in a digital-first environment. This is a hybrid role located in Emeryville, CA. Full-time Ansa Biotechnologies is putting nature to work, creating novel enzymatic solutions that will redefine how we build DNA. Our enzyme-based approach promises to dramatically accelerate innovation in biological research and biotechnology, including therapeutics, diagnostics, biomanufacturing, and synthetic biology. Key Responsibilities Working in close collaboration with the Director of Marketing, develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive awareness, lead generation, and customer retention in line with company goals. Own the marketing automation platform (HubSpot) including campaign setup and execution to manage end-to-end digital campaigns including PPC, paid social, and email. Manage the execution of lead data management, ensuring high-quality, well-structured segmentation to unlock scalable, data-driven targeting and maximize campaign effectiveness. Design and implement A/B testing strategies to improve campaign performance and conversion rates. Experience with Salesforce to track lead status, review lead funnel progress, and maintain data integrity in collaboration with the Director of Comm Ops. Ensure all campaigns adhere to approved strategic briefs, maintain brand consistency, and leverage AI driven tools to optimize performance and personalization. Use data-driven insights to analyze KPIs, including traffic, engagement, conversion rates, and ROI. Evaluate and pilot emerging digital channels, platforms, and tactics to expand reach and drive incremental growth. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a creative discipline. 3+ years of relevant experience in digital marketing. A strong preference for experience in healthcare or life science industries. Strong proficiency in HubSpot required. Experience in SEM, SEO, and Google Analytics. Excellent project management skills with a natural curiosity and a desire to collaborate across departments. Highly organized, adaptable, and results-driven with a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment. Preference for local Bay Area location What We Offer Competitive salary and equity.
