Job Description

Receiving Clerk

We are hiring a dependable Receiving Clerk for our client located near the West Loop in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of warehouse, receiving, or shipping experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule & Pay

1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $19–$20/hr + perfect attendance bonus
Great benefits offered upon hire

Responsibilities

Unload trucks and stage products to be put away
Prepare products and materials for put-away
Document receiving activity accurately in computer systems
Organize and stage materials for placement throughout the warehouse
Maintain accurate inventory and shipping/receiving records
Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements

At least 1 year of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience
Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter information into computer systems
Strong attention to detail
Ability to safely lift and move products as required
Stand-up forklift experience is preferred but not required
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
