Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with licensed physical therapists to implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring adherence to all prescribed protocols.
• Provide direct, hands-on treatment to patients implementing therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Educate patients about rehabilitation exercises, lifestyle modifications, and proper techniques for home practice to enhance recovery.
• Monitor patient progress during sessions, recording observations and results accurately in compliance with documentation standards.
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to discuss patient developments and modify treatment approaches as needed.
• Incorporate trigger point therapy and manual therapy techniques during sessions to alleviate specific musculoskeletal issues.
• Participate in occupational health initiatives, contributing to programs that improve workplace wellness for our community.

Qualifications

• Minimum AAS degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.

• Experience in applying manual therapy techniques effectively with a focus on patient needs.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
