Mike Calvert Ford is proud to be the newest addition to the Vaughan Automotive Group family. As our newest acquired dealership, we're entering an exciting new chapter — bringing fresh energy, new opportunities, and renewed investment in our people and our customers. We're looking for a hands-on New Car Manager to run the day-to-day operations of our new vehicle sales desk — coaching the sales team, desking deals, and ensuring smooth vehicle delivery for every new car customer.

Responsibilities

• Desk new vehicle deals and support the sales team in structuring and closing sales
• Coach and train sales consultants on new vehicle features, product knowledge, and the sales process
• Conduct daily lot walks to ensure new vehicle inventory is properly displayed, priced, and prepped
• Support pricing and negotiation on the sales floor within department guidelines
• Ensure new vehicles are properly prepped and ready for customer delivery
• Track daily and weekly sales performance for the new car team and report results to the New Car Sales Director
• Assist customers directly as needed to support deal closing and customer satisfaction
• Coordinate with service and detail teams on vehicle readiness

• Prior experience in new car sales, with some experience in a sales management or team lead capacity
• Strong understanding of new vehicle features, pricing, and the sales process
• Strong coaching and day-to-day team leadership skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a New Car Manager at a Ford dealership
• Familiarity with Ford vehicle lineup and current incentive programs
• Experience training or mentoring sales consultants
